This is an educational course to provide you with the technical know-how to comprehend how to stay safe in a winter enviroment.
By providing you with the technical know-how to comprehend how to stay safe in this dynamic environment, we intend to develop the abilities necessary to enable entry into the mountains while they are covered in winter conditions.

Use of ice axe and crampons
Winter navigation
Emergency shelter
Forecast interpretation
Movement on Snow & Ice
Avalanche Education & Avoidance
These courses are bespoke to individuals based on their experience.
There may be around 15 miles of walking per day.
Due to UK conditions, this will likely take place in Scotland, Wales or the Lake District
