About the trip

With a starting point in Glencoe, one of the most atmospheric landscapes in Scotland. The path at the start is good, once on the mountain the path can become steep and uneven in places. The ridge is rough in areas, but generally well walked. The views are spectacular, on a clear day Glen Etive and Rannoch Moor can be seen. The descent is steep; once across stepping stones the River Coupall the walk out through the valley has a really good path and splendid scenery.

A good pair of walking boots is essential, walking poles can also be an advantage. Please bring waterproofs, a warm top along with plenty of food and water. If it's a hot and sunny day; sun cream, glasses and a hat are recommended. Don't forget your camera!
