About the trip

Carneddau Walk

The Carneddau , meaning Cairns in Welsh, is the number one favourite mountain range at Mountain Moss Adventures. Some of the cairns found on it’s summits are bronze age burial chambers. There are semi wild Carneddau ponies to be seen , as well as an example of the rare montane heath / arctic tundra.

Join us on a guided walk of the largest unbroken mountain range in Wales, taking in the main summits, some of the highest in Snowdonia , with stunning vistas if we are lucky.

We can also include a magnificent scramble on the famous crib lem spur ! if you would like this option let me know when enquiring
