About the trip
Among climbers, Mallorca is known as a mecca for Deep Water Solo climbing. It is without a doubt the top destination in the world to enjoy this pure style of climbing, and every October Rockbusters host this trip to share their psych for DWS. The best conditions are in October and early November as the sun stays low in the sky and dries the moisture out of the coastal caves. The temperature isn’t too hot or cold at this time, and the sea is still warm from the hot summer months. In recent years loads of new crags have been bolted on the island, and on overcast or cooler days we will spend our time exploring these lesser-known sport-climbing areas, making for a really varied and exciting tour.
Climbing isn’t the only thing that makes people fall in love with this trip; Mallorca also offers breathtaking scenery. You’ll spend your week hanging from cliffs rising up from the turquoise-blue water of the Mediterranean, hiking through secluded beaches and coves, relaxing between climbs amongst the pine trees, and sharing well-earned beers on the beach at local chiringuitos.
