About the trip
Season: From mid June to end of September.
Open dates: 22-30 August 2020
More dates available on request, please ask for pricing and details.
On this self supported expedition through the heart of Sarek National Park, we will experience the true wilderness that this area has to offer. This includes the mighty valley of Rapadalen with it's green water and delta landscape where some of the largest moose of Europe gather. We will experience this both up close and from above. After a week of trekking through this wast area a helicopter will come pick us up and fly us back to the civilization where a well deserved meal greets us.
During the trek we will sleep in high quality tents and single or shared tents are available to comply with social distancing. We will cook the food ourselves by outdoor stoves and of course taste some local Swedish Fika. Never go hungry!

Travel to and from the starting location:
I recommend flying to Arlanda (Stockholm), then taking the night train to Gällivare. From there a bus ride will take you to the starting location. On all the tours I will help you get the right and best national transportation to make sure you have a friction free process. Questions about getting to the starting location? Let me know and I will sort it out for you.
To book the train from Arlanda to Gällivare, please visit the governmental rail road company SJ: www.sj.se
(If SJ says that the ticket is not available to purchase, please ask me and I will call them to check as they do not always release all tickets in advance)
